Disadvantage Business Enterprise Public Participation

Great Falls International Airport has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation, 49 CFR Part 26. For Fiscal Year 2020 through 2021, the Airport has established an overall goal of 3.83% of the Federal financial assistance it will receive for improvements to the airport. The Airport estimates it will meet this goal entirely through race neutral means.

The Airport conducted an interactive teleconference on March 25th, 2020 at 10:00 AM to inform the public, small businesses, and disadvantaged businesses on the DBE and ACDBE programs. The meeting slides are posted below and directed to small businesses to inform them of the DBE goal methodology calculation, how to become an eligible DBE or ACDBE participant through MDT’s UCP application, and how to obtain resources available to DBEs.

The proposed DBE goal and its rationale will be available for review for 30 days following this notice during normal business hours at the airport.

Anyone interested in obtaining a copy of the goal may contact Nicolette Lind at [email protected]

For outreach and encouragement of participation, the Great Falls International Airport Authority (GFIAA) will conduct an interactive teleconference on March 25th, 2020 at 10:00 AM local time in the airport’s board room located at 2800 Terminal Drive, Great Falls, MT 59404, to inform the public, small businesses, and disadvantaged businesses on the DBE and ACDBE programs. The meeting agenda will be set up to inform small businesses of the DBE goal methodology calculation, how to become an eligible DBE or ACDBE participant through MDT’s UCP application, and how to obtain resources available to DBEs. The meeting will also be an opportunity for small/disadvantaged business to voice concerns and add their own input to the goal-setting process
