Great Falls International hosts a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Federal Inspection Services (FIS) facility generally open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Clearance appointments may be available outside normal hours through the CBP reservation system; however, such appointments are now subject to U.S. Customs Reimbursable Services Program (RSP) fees.

Recent changes to CBP policy require airports to fund and provide all computers, equipment, and furniture at FIS locations. Effective May 2025, the Airport Authority has implemented a FIS Facility Fee for all aircraft utilizing the FIS facility at GTF. Fees will be reviewed and adjusted periodically based on required equipment purchases for CBP operations. Current rates for processing as the FIS facility are as follows:
